Food Drive for the Airdrie Food Bank

Until the end of October, Northcott Prairie is collecting non-perishable food items for the Airdrie Food Bank.

The homeroom class that collects everything (or closest to!) all the items on the list below will win a movie and popcorn party sponsored by Grade 6 Leadership.

Baby items – diapers, formula, baby food, wipes, pull-ups, etc.

Canned Food – Any food that comes in a can: fruit, vegetables, meats (tuna, chicken, ham)

Staples – Dried beans/legumes, hot/cold cereal, condiments, pasta, flour, jam/honey/peanut
butter, evaporated or powdered milk, almond/soy/rice milk, oats, pancake mix/syrup, rice,
meal kits, soup mixes, soup cups, sugar, sugar-free items for diabetics

Non-food items – toilet paper, Kleenex, feminine hygiene items, household cleaning supplies,
toothpaste, toothbrushes, bar soap, shampoo, etc.

Land Acknowledgment

Rocky View Schools would like to acknowledge the land and recognize all the Indigenous Peoples whose footprints have marked these lands from time immemorial. Together, we can learn and honour the Ways of Knowing of Indigenous Peoples for all future generations.
