School Council

School Council Information

School Council members are parents of students attending Northcott Prairie School. School staff and parents are partners in the learning process and we want to ensure that the home and the school work in close harmony.

While ultimately any final decision is the Principal's, the advice and views of parents will be listened to most carefully. School Council provides an important forum to discuss, contribute, consider, and exchange views associated with the Northcott Prairie School.

Our Northcott Prairie School Society, which is the parent fundraising committee, meets before our School Council Meeting at 6:15PM.

All parents of students attending Northcott Prairie School are encouraged to attend School Council meetings and be involved.

Land Acknowledgment

Rocky View Schools would like to acknowledge the land and recognize all the Indigenous Peoples whose footprints have marked these lands from time immemorial. Together, we can learn and honour the Ways of Knowing of Indigenous Peoples for all future generations.
